In 1999, Marcella van Bruggen was enchanted by this form of art; the mandala.
For centuries, creating geometric patterns in a circle has been used as a meditation tool, originally by monks in Tibet.
Marcella uses this powerful way of drawing and painting to experience the healing effect that the mandala has on her.
Each creation exposes a piece of her soul, reflecting to the viewer that true art hides within us all.
